Ross Radiators in Maddington are good old fashioned radiator repairers Ann , but be warned a recore is not cheap these days

They are in Davison St, Maddington , 9459 9991

Funnily enough they are talking about this on the FX FJ forum at the moment. Brown’s Radiators gets a recommendation also.

The throw away concept is encroaching, with the ally imports pretty attractive price wise. They look a bit bling but you can always paint them I suppose. Which should improve heat exchange although I hear they are very effective to start with.

A copper brass recore by locals will guarantee many years of service as well as retaining the old school/original look. People are buying good second hand radiators for not much less than the ally imports, and for common later model vehicles they are even cheaper.

If my engine bay was getting away from an original look say a Jap or V donk then I would find one tempting.

My 22c worth.
Cheers
