Hi all - I'm in need of a couple of heater part to finish off my warmaride install.

I need the cable from dash to heater to open the plenum
also need the two plastic joints that come from the heater box and connect to the flex tube - I believe one is 90 degrees bend and the other 45 degrees bend.

Can anyone assist?

Also what fuse is best to install for the warmaride fan - is 20Amp enough?

Cheers

20 Amp should be heaps , fan motors shouldnt draw much current at all.

Thanks Blacky - might start her at 10 and work up as required as I can't find anything on the motor itself and don't want to overload it back up the system.

The heater fan takes power (12-volt positive) from the
fuse panel (located under the dash on the driver‟s
side). The connection is made through the 15 amp turn
signal/heater/backup fuse

Ah - right o - thanks Craig - it doesn't put too much drain on that one circuit to add it in on same fuse?

Its factory set up as its labelled that on the fuse block.
Both my sedan and ute are this way. Don't have any problems. Barely run the heater with the fan on flat out anyway, if at all.

G'day Wally,

For the cable, the easiest way out is to rob a pushbike brake cable. I have a suspicion that some of these heater plenums were rod-driven, but have not had a chance to fit one to the FB and play with it.

For the demister outlets, try Martin from Obsolete Rubber 0412 941 799. Otherwise, make some up by cut-and-shutting radiator hose as per the Guide.

Cheers,
Harv
