How were picnic radios installed in holdens?
Were they installed in dash or above or below?
Finally were they an FB or EK accessory or did they come later with the EJ's and EH's

EJ/H were the first Holden to have the picnic radios as a model specific accessory. They had a cradle that fitted into the top of the dash where the speaker would normally go.

In the spirit of 'anything's possible', you could probably do a custom install into an FK, but you'd have to be keen.

I've seen a few generic under-dash style 60's picnic radios over the years that wouldn't look out of place in an FK. Ferris made a few different models in Australia.
