Grey Motor .010" OS Pistons and rings

Post by Craig Allardyce »

As it says, I'm on the hunt for a set of .010" OS Pistons and rings. Have been through the usual with suppliers. Any leads would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Craig,

Not sure if this is what you are after.

It is only pistons. They are Repco Pistons. I have just had a look in my Repco parts book and I can't find any reference to them. The description doesn't say if they are for a grey or a red.

Cheers

Thanks Rod, yep checked that one out. They are in fact 179 pistons - not Grey Motor. The lack of gudgeon pin retainers raised my suspicion. ACL Catalogue confirmed 2087 as 179. 90mm diameter is 3 1/2" which would be into the water jackets. Man you have to be so careful with Ebay.
