Thrust bearing changeout

Hey guys,
I need to change out my thrust bearing and don't have the facilities or know how in order to do it. Whilst the gearbox is out I was also hoping to bolt in the other starter motor I have and also need to install the new dizzy with electronic ignition fitted.
I am currently looking for any recommendations of a mechanic I can take the wagon to or anyone who would be willing for me to come round and them teach me a thing or too. I will supply the beer in that case. Also is where should I be getting my thrust bearing. Is there somewhere south of Perth that sells them or is it just a case of online.
Cheers
Alec

Yeah we are well overdue for one - have been talking aboput it for a while so will lock it in. There is a hoist in the workshop so if you need to do a bit of tinkering grab the bits you need and head on down - will send a email out to all members with times, address , etc.

Thanks to everyone who helped out today. It is now a rule i will stick by to always do the job twice. And i will be sure to stay vigilant with those fluid levels.
I know i learnt a hell of a lot today and i appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge.
I look forward to the next Club event and cruise.

Very cool looking wagon, love the colour.
You guys are really lucky, spanner days at my local mechanic usually cost me a minimum $500.....
Hey Blacky if you need any chrome bits or dress up bits for the trailer let me know, I have loads of sedan and ute odds n ends that I will never use.
Keep an eye on you lubrication levels guys, important at any age......
