This is the one I just picked up via this site from Merimbula. 38,000 Gen. Check the last reg sticker!

Apologies to those who missed it.

If you see what happened to my 215 Standard (Pictured in "Sharing advice and experience") you will see why I was so keen to get this car.

Smooth, it's going to be done in Acrylic. There is a lot of surface rust from a tarp, otherwise the paint would have been fantastic.

Hmm, it's a lot of cash for acrylic if the body doesn't need much.

I'd paint it for you for a "grand in the hand" but that's for laying the paint only. (No Prep work) I hate prep work! LOL

Paint shops are expensive these days. Really it's a rip off. But that's what they charge. The whole job with two workers would be done in less than a full week. Add up the wages and cost of paint and materials and they are making a HUGE profit.

I hear you! I saw this guys work on the weekend & it was great.

It will need a fair bit of body work. I have done a few back to metal resprays in my earlier days & it was a lot of work.

Do you think so Jay? That's why I am asking the question here.

The last respray I had done on a car was in 1992 & it was $3,000!
