I've never seen a rubber block like that before. Maybe rare prototype?

My HT wagon has a rubber in the tailgate catch.

The one pictured isn't a HT one, though.

I think the one with the rubber is for an HD/HR Wagon tail gate ...the rubber will have a part number on the inside...7417423
I picked up a nos one at a swap meet with some other stuff and that was the only part number I could find. There is a left and right side and the rubber fits both

I've not found anything as yet. FX/FJ,EJ/EH,HD/HR, tailgates........nothing.
FE/FC/FB/EK are the same with the only difference being LH & RH.
This is a good one. Maybe a prize to the winner...............................

Gee...I dunno...I reckon the HQ one looks pretty close.

Its a lousy pic...just something blown up off a for sale ad...but it looks close.

I'll try and find a better image.
