Since the PCD of a HK & flare the same, back space is a little out and they come in a 14". Can you run them on a FB with drums front and rear? Looking at these maps on flea bay

I run HT rims on mine. But I have LH discs on the front. Rears are fine. Do a search on here it's been covered many times. I'm just struggling a bit to remember.

Actually you don't, you just need rims with the right backspace to give clearance. Mines lowered heaps but I run a standard width rim. The Torana diff is more for a dished looked to your rim. Check out Oli's wagon on here ( formerly Trev's).

The hk 14" rim runs a differnt offset to the hg and ht ,they will hit on the front with oem drums.
I had this issue they other weekend.
This is hg ht steelie on the front no rubbing issues it was the hk (with oem holes around the center rim) steelie that wouldnt roll when the wheel nuts where done up.

I run HT wheels with 2 inch lowered on standard brakes with no problems. just remember to change the wheel nuts to suit, FE/EK have a 60 degree taper and HT HG have a 40 degree taper.
Cheers Rob

Alright here's a test. I have toranan discs on front end and the stud thread takes a 12 x 1.5 nut, I'm running original rims so need the 60deg taper. Is there an original but that has this combination??

Why is it metric ? Have you changed the studs ? Should be 7/16"UNF .....

Could be VBCH Commodore L 4 cylinder hubs they were 4.25 pcd with metric studs.

yeah its a good point, I don't really know. I had a custom place change original front end to HR and the replacement disc pads are torana, so have just assumed entire disc assembly and studs would be too. But 12x1.5 definitely go on, so yeah maybe the early commodore nuts are the way to go.
cheers guys
