Sapeurs pompiers is the French fire brigade.

Biederthal is in north-eastern France, near the Swiss border.

Heinis is a fire truck manufacturer/outfitter.

I like fire trucks  8)

Last oldie I worked with was an Mercedes model LK 1924 (1960's vintage) foam appliance fitted out by Saval-Kronenburg. Had been looked after really, really well, and still going strong in industrial fire service in the 2000's... lot more reliable than some of the later appliances I've played with. Kinda like an FB/EK... mechanically simple and easy to understand if it craps itself. Not a big fan of appliances full of solenoids.
