so i have this desease since i was a young teenager  (long time ago)
iv allways had minis
this is my genuine 1966 mk 2 cooper s
iv had it sinse 1980 got stuck into it for about 10 years then went on the back burner
you know the deal
marrige  kids   bussiness    getting myself set up in life
built the chopped ute in between
built 2 workshops
2 houses sons motocross every weekend for the last 10 years
so ive decided its time
made a heap of space at the new workshop on the mezzanine
we have about 100 square meters
so now with the 32 well on its way gona finally get the mini finished i painted this back in 1993
one of my first paint jobs
been sitting in the corner of my garrage sinse then
quick wipe over today (has allways been covered up )
paint still looks fresh
have every part i need to put it all back together :)
building this one as a historic race car will put my race number 52 on the side white circle background runs a roll cage and some race seats
too rare a car to butcher so will only do things to it that i can change back
sold one years ago and regreted it to this day
tried to buy it back many times
so this one goes into the will for my son along with my other cars
will do some updates as i go

are you trying to outdo Flathead ?????? anyone can do one project at a time - it takes a special kind of stupid to have multiple projects on the go at once

Hmm lets see .......

- Monaro
- One tonner
- 57
- Rudge
- 2 door EK
- house renos
- Morry

I think I have got enough to do for the next few months

That's awesome! Definitely have a soft spot for mini's such a fun car to drive, and that there is the ultimate if you are going to own one. Can't wait to see it finished.

I too like the mini's  looks like a good thing love the flared gaurds
they were my favourite to watch going around Amaroo park 8)
I actually painted one a few months ago as a favour for my elderly neighbour its a 60's model
its white I tried to get him to go for some stripes on the bonnet or a checker roof
but he said nahh just white is fine I don't want to attract the local constable
