I recently bought a bit off gear of a mate. Probably never use it but didn't want to see it go to waste.
12 hightop grey pistons
6 zephyr pistons on rods
3 hot cams.

I have cleaned up 1 of the cams but unsure if its ok or not. Does have some slight pitting. I have added pics.
So is it any good??

I wouldn't use it without getting it reground. You should be able to get the current grind profile checked and then have it reground to the same if that's what your after. The journal/bearings may get away with some pitting but I'm pretty sure you'll wipe out a set of lifters with the cam lobes being pitted.

The back of the cam lobe is nearly the same level as the cam itself so not sure if it could be re-ground ?

106 is not a Wade cam or a Clive. Be interesting to know wo ground it and what the specs are.

You'd be surprised how little you need to take off the base circle to allow rework of the main profile. Given if there's not enough I'd probably just get a cam place to see if they could check the grind profile and see if you can get it done on another good cam if you wanted to run it.
