We're booked in at the Cowra Crest Motel. Everything else was booked out last year when we checked.

Cowra is hosting not just us, but also some huge geriatric agates pennant/national championship thingumy....
We were very fortunate to be advised to book early - we're in at the Alabaster...

@ Blacky - are you on the "waiting list" for one of those 3 rooms?..... just in case - I don't believe you'd have any problems selling your booking if you booked in somewhere else..... it's going to be a pretty much booked out town....

No mate, I booked in at the Caravan park , got a studio room whatever that is - as long as it has a hot shower, a bloody good heater because I gather it will be bloody freezing like every other year  and it doesnt leak I will be happy.

Yeah, we're looking forward to this one - haven't been to Cowra before... might just make a special day trip over "the mountain" before coming home.... never been there either....

Cold - nah.... if you want cold, go visit Canada atm... bloke I keep in touch with who's also into R/C planes/heli's, tells me it was -30 C for four days....he had to check into a motel to keep warm.... his place froze up.... water, gas and no electricity.... bugger that! Cowra sounds great (as long as the ice melts in the morning to wipe down our cars).

Caravan Park sounds fun...... be warned! those firepits at CPs become pretty retentive.... bit of a paradox, keeping warm by the fire - and keeping cool with refreshments..... guess there'll be opportunity for another karioke session.... my last recollection of your efforts at Albury suggested suitable lubrication made for a "happy" time.... now, who was your partner in crime from that one.....?

The plot thickens.....

Should we edit the title of this post to "Who's staying at the Cowra Holiday Park?"
Hope the fire pit is big enough...

Blacky, hope the shower has a large leak at the bottom of it - and the roof doesn't....
