I have a Volvo diff at home , not too sure what its out of - will measure it tonight and see how wide it is.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

hi! richo if you scroll thru the rest of the pages under driveline there is a number of posts regarding the use of volvo diffs including one from nomad with some pics. if u do go this way tony at classic olden in cannington has the fb-ek leaf spring pad mounts already made up and can modify the diff to suit .and i believe there is a mob over east that can supply the handbrake cable ext to suit.

With the Volvo 240 diff the guy I brought it off said early Holden rims will fit it. So dose that mean HQ rims will fit?

I'm hoping so, as I have put off getting it converted ATM because I was think a VN - VS diff would have been a better way to go.

Early Holden means pre HQ mate... And you'll need to use at least 14's I believe

One of the well sets between HK-T-G is best but can't remember which ones as some have a different offset of the top of my head

Cheers
