Finally made the last payment on this today. Its a 63 alfa 2600 sprint. All alloy twin cam six with triple sidedraughts.
It was fully restore 15 years ago and never finished.
It needs the engine assembled and fitted. The owner dropped it off to the mechanic. Ran out of money got sick and didnt come back for it.
Ive been trying to buy it for five years. Its one of 590 rhd ones made.

Yep ive been watching these for a few years. They are still a bit of an orphan model. Most alfa freaks go for the four cylinder sportier models.
Due to that fact and rust the attrition of this model has meant there are only a handful left.
All of a sudden people have realised they are a cheaper alternative to a ferrari.
Most pull between 35 to 50 grand. Rhd cars are sought after. The only downside is that they have no market here.
Im selling this one when done.
The money from this will finance my maserati project.
Im going to have some fun in it first though.

It took me ten years to get a repco.
There is another alfa I have been trying to get for my wife for years now also but im not getting my hopes up.
The merlin hydro took over three years to get.
Im still working on a guy who has a tiger moth in pieces in a shed locally to me.
I also know of a stearman biplane for twenty grand but its a mess.
Im a firm believer in if you are meant to get something it will come.
If it doesnt come then something else is around the corner.
