Chrome removal

I'm thinking of painting the front and rear chrome (bumpers, indicators, grill etc, very average condition) on the EK and was wondering the best way of getting the chrome off (without sandblasting) so the paint will actually stay on,

Dude it looks awful....!
But I reckon you'd be able to sand it off, acid dip or maybe ring an electroplater and ask

I have to agree Nekro63, the good news is I'm not color coding, I'm going to do silver, kind of like a cheep billet look (and believe me when I say cheep),

chrome platers can remove chrome, i've had bumpers etc sand blasted before with no probs

I had my bumpers dechromed by chromeplaters then painted them in silver tinter slightly flattened.Have a look in My FB/EK , Daily Driver EK ute.
