Welcome Woody, anything is fixable. Just depends on how determined/cashed up/skilled you are or who you know that can help.

Have a look in members rides at a few of the old posts showing projects in the build to see how some of the rust repaairs have been tackled. There are photo's showing some serious patching.

Got any pics, oh yeah and good luck.

Hi Woody, with a little research and practice you should be able to fix most of this yourself.
Can you weld or do you know someone who can teach you, if so thats where you should start if you want to save money, or just pay someone else to do it for you.

thanks for the help, will get some pics up next week to show the car, i have basic welding skills so might try my self, just a bit scared when it comes to parts of the chasis want it to last not just a quick dogey job.

G'day Woody and welcome

Being from Queensland, there must be millions of rusted out road going vehicles there for you to practice on. :)
