I'd be lost without mine! Best defrosting device ever. Having said that I think you just need to make a template (similar thickness ply) and work out where to place the steel that holds the glass to ensure it goes up and down with out jamming.

you are dead on there DR when I put the 1 piece in the van even with factory demisters that worked well the front screen would fog badly with out the flipper windows
there's a small section of the door that needs a piece welded in where it dips for the flipper window as for the rest I can't say all my stuff was standard as I used orange lexcen for side glass so much lighter

Thats the part i was thinking would need a piece put in mick may be off another door so you can get a door belt in the whole way
just looking at options i do like the flipper windows too great aircon in the summer as well as demister in the winter
just a pain if the leak air and water when closed

I have one piece front windows on my chopped ute
you will need to weld in a piece of metal where the quarter window was
also you will need to get longer bailey channel to run the length of the door
the window runner channel needs to be altered to allow the one piece glass to slide up and down
its a very easy job really
just a bit of work involved
templates are easy to make use 3mm mdf board
most glass shops should be able to cut and do the edge detail for you
I was fortunate enough to have a mate in this trade that let me do them myself usung his shop
in wa we need to have the aust standards logo id number etched into the glass or we don't pass rego
hope this helps

Thanks Paul how do you find them do you like them better then the flipper set up
i know you have chopped your size down height wise but dose it let to much wind in as its
a fairly big window without the flipper window hope this makes sense
