hi Guys, noticed that I have a fuel leak driping from the butterfly at the bottom of the carby.
Any ideas on fix or is it full rebuild stuff?

G'day converted,
Chances are that the leak is not coming from the throttle (butterfly) shafts, as these are dry in normal operation (and under vacuum). Most of the time the culprit are the two screw plugs located under the bottom of the fuel bowl. The leak will either drip onto the manifold or run back down the carb and onto the throttle shaft shaft before dripping. Wipe all the fuel off with a paper towel, then let it leak again. Start at the top of the carb with a dry finger and work downswards until you find the leak source.
You can try tightening these up with a stubby flat-blade screwdriver. They have copper washers under them that can be replaced if they are mooshed. Be careful though as pulling out these plugs will drain the fuel bowl... not a great idea onto a hot manifold!
Cheers,
Harv
