Hi Guys, I have just done a fuel pump kit on my ac pump on my HT and now its squirting a jet of fuel out of a little hole in the lower section of the pump body, back towards the oil pump. What have I done wrong? Regards Daz.

Howdy Daz
What is happening is fuel is getting beneath the diaphram.
The hole is a breather, no fuel should be down there.
Cheers
Jeff

Hi Thommo, Thanks for your reply. You were correct. The N.O.S kit that I had had gone stiff(diapham) and when I pulled it apart, was full of cracks.I had another fuelmiser kit which had a nice supple diapham.Shes no running like a dream. Thanks again.Regards Daz.

Yeah good thanks mate.Making progress, not as fast as I would like but at least Im going foward and not back. I have the sunvisor on my first EK wagon and have tubed the rear chassis members to bolt my tow bar to. The second EK wagon is not far from the road but having trouble with the door rubbers and cant close the back doors even when slamming them.My EH wagon is running fine and the HT wagon is work in progress and collecting bits and pieces. I put the fuel pump back on and took her for a drive to keep the brakes free ,etc. Oh, and working on another Ariel, a 1947 Deluxe. Regards to all Daz.
