We are being starved of Drag Racing in Adelaide, It suxs
I was lucky enough to be at the 50th US Nationals in Indy '04.
Saw some awsome nostalgia stuff over there.
Mike Boyd drove the winged express on some wild passes
Flames higher than the wing, all over the track,AWSOME STUFF.

I miss the top fuelers
things were lookin good there for a while
with the proposed 1/4 mile strip at Barmera
adjacent to where they hold the hotrod nationals
(which was supposed to be ready for last years nationals)
I heard they may of "canned" the idea???
Think a trip to W.S.I.D. is on the cards

Yeah thanks Ratbox & Smurfett,
I was having a little look and this caught my eye. It looks interesting. I'd like to know a little bit about it if anyone has some knowledge of it. It looks like a cross between a modern London cab and a 1930's / 40's Chrysler.

Dominic,
Its a 1948 Morris 8 series E.You can see the tourer I built with 2l &*#@/4 speed etc in latest Street Machine article on Street Rod Nats.I sold it about 7 years ago and it looked a lot better then with its 15" big/little wheels etc.
