whats the best way to go to disc brakes but keep the grey motor

I have had one with a grey.

If going club plates you'll have to check that you can actually run discs.

Should be fine for club rego, only highly mod cars not allowed.
Although if it has a rwc and engineers I can't see why not????

The guidelines on the club plate scheme are being tightened up due to a lot of abuse. From what I've heard most clubs are going with a RWC now, and someone doing a RWC would notice a brake change "if" they're familiar with earlies would trigger an engineers report. I might add it could also come down to the club's definition of modified too.

Best answer would be to talk to the clubs signatory to find out what they want you to do.
