Turbo 350, 400 or powerglide. Im not sure a trimatic is available with a chev patterned bellhousing.
You could try dellow to see if they make a conversion.
I have a 327 adapted to an international truck gearbox in a 64 inter panel truck.

As fingers and Dave say any turbos but the turbo 700 from a VN V8 non electronic are very good.

They are a 3 speed with overdrive and you can lock the torque convertor to give you even less engine rpm, so an instand 5 speed.

Extremely good for general driving and good fuel economy on the freeway.

I know some of the early holden engines had a chev bolt pattern on them but I think they used the turbos, not sure it the trimatics were chev pattern at all.
