don't they bolt inside your doors to stop them opening too far?

Maybe but I only have 2 but 4 doors

Just the back doors maybe?? Front doors have those metal spring plate things I think.

yep just the rear doors

They bolt onto the b pillar through the access plugs to stop the rear doors from opening too far.
