Has anybody made their own panel boards that go between the rear seat and the boot?
I was thinking of using 3mm MDF with maybe some deadener or dynamat on it?
Cheers

Yes I made my own, some ply would do the job.
Can't remember what I made mine out of, it was too long ago.

You can use just about anything, I've used both plywood and MDF before.

You can buy "trimboard" from
www.daleys.com.au, it's a thick, black cardboard that is similar to what was used from factory.

Thanks Stinky, I'll check it out... I think there is also a shop not far from me that makes them in the same black board, i was going to try to do it myself just to get more hands on experience but if i do a crap job, maybe i'll just buy a reproduction one

Why would you spend the time making one? I'd just go and buy the reproduction one (unless it was massively expensive or something).

It's $75 on ePay but I thought I could knock one up for $20-30.

The trim board is around $30 a sheet from memory, save yourself $40 and 1/2 to 1 hour of watching the shite they put on TV these days
