I have one with EK outrigger and HQ stubs / brakes if you are interested. I'm asking quite a bit for it as i do know what they are worth, rarity, cost of the HQ parts ect. Let me know if you are interested.

Yep, they're currently going for exactly $200 (without stubs)

Yes but then factor in the 6 hour round trip to go and get that, plus fuel cost (last time i drove close to that it cost me just over $100).

Or you could pay even more and have it couriered.

Or just buy one in Brisbane.

I've seen two on ebay for $750 and $1100. Mine is complete, with the HQ stubs and brakes. I'd be asking somewhere in the middle of those two prices. Considering like 4 years ago i sold two of them with HR discs for $550 each i think its a fair price.

The asking price on Ebay is not necessarily what something is worth. People seem to think that if an item is listed at $800 dollars for example then that is what is worth. This is the problem with Ebay as I am sure we have all been to a Swap or whatever and been told. " I can get $800 on Ebay"
So pay what you think is a fair price not what some one has listed on Ebay.
I am sure most of those items that are listed at outrageous prices are not sold. But still used as a benchmark by other sellers.

It would be worth at least $800 if it was a 'prototype' - they're an appreciating asset, going up in value all the time

Seriously down in Sydney at least, you'll see them advertised for sale from $250 to $750 on Gumtree but factor in doing a reco, and check the underneath if it's really pushed in from jacking. You also need to fork out for the outrigger/front support, new discs etc etc.

If you're going different stubs and stuff just buy a drum ball joint front end (usually much cheaper) and chuck away the drum brakes.

I'd rather buy a shitty, non prototype and spend the difference on getting it sorted. Come to think of it that's what I did !
