Could someone please measure an original rear handbrake cable for me? My repro one seems too long.

Re: Rear handbrake cable
Hi Marty
Wagons and sedans I thnink have the same cable. I think the only different cables are between manuals and autos.
I was hoping somone might have one out of a FB EK that could be measured to exact length.

Re: Rear handbrake cable
Stu,
You're right - FE-EK share the same rear cable. EK auto got a different rear cable, as did EJ.
I only have one cable (FB sedan), and it's under the car. Happy to crawl under there and measure it as long as the "installed" measurements are useful to you. Let me know exactly what you want measured and I'll break out the floor jack and tape.
Cheers,
Harv (greasy cable affecionado ).

Re: Rear handbrake cable
My bad on this one. I hadn't located the handbrake properly under the two rear 'clips' at the rear.
