I'm 5,8 and I do remember going numb and propping a 2lt bottle behind my back for some releif on a trip home once.
I've moved the rear panel back as much as possible since then and ditched the bench seat whiich I had already lowered 4 inches ,in place of some small buckets.
6 foot hmmm how much do you want it 8)

There are ways around it, lowering the seat is a good start  I'm 6ft tall and drive a chopped FJ 2 1/2" and prior to that had a 28 Hiboy with severley chopped screen and soft top and later a 30 pickup roadster with similar low roofline.

Down sides are its occasionally hard to see traffic lights so you learn to stop with distance between yourself and the usual line so you can see the light change.

Been caught out at the Blacktown drivein night a few years back, we got there early to catchup with mates and get a good posi for the movie but when it got dark and they started the show we jumped back into the roadster with its roof on and couldn't see the bloody screen :?

Plus sides are you don't need inside flip down sunvisors, looks way cool and you get to watch your mates bang there head when you offer them a lift home from the pub when they go to get in.
