I have about seven heaters on the shelf and all the outlet rubbers are perished so found some 40nb elbows at work, drilled out the spot welds of the rubber retainers and made a flange out of 6mm plate - ID = 40 mm, OD = 50 mm and welded to one end of the elbow.I will paint the elbows before I re-install and cut a thin rubber washer to go between the flange and heater body. Should work.

Can highly reccomend the reproduction Warmaride elbows (both 90 degree and 45 degree) made by Obsolete Rubbers (Martin Frigo, 2 Glencara St Avondale Heights Victoria 3034, Phone: (03) 93178725, Mobile 0412941799). Top quality product, and about the same pricing as Tim's post.
Cheers,

I made up a set for mine using some radiator hoses. I had one the right diameter, with some bends, and did the flange bit using a slightly larger piece of radiator pipe cut like a calamari ring and glued it to the end (over the pipe) of each bend. Worked really well. Tidied it up with the dremel and it looks the goods.
