fbek ute tailgate needed

Hi there guys,My name is Rich and i own an FC Ute that is in desperate need of a full tailgate.
I was informed by the FEFC Holden club that you guys are very helpful and that i should post my request
on your forum to widen my search.
I have become a member of this forum over the weekend and hope that between the forums and clubs i may find
that elusive tailgate ! Thank you very much !

Fe fc ute tailgates are slightly different in the frame Round the striker area than fb ek. Ive just repaired a tailgate for my fb and its an fc one. I havent tried to fit it yet to see if it still latches properly.

I am in need of a tailgate also my current one was bogged around the hinges and is now breaking rusting from the inside out the poor fit and the abundance of FC engine parts that came with my ute indicate it was probably taken off an FC, if I find a better tailgate you are welome to mine.

Thank you very much for the offer ! I will certainly take you up on that no matter what the condition, it appears these are very hard to find and it would be good to have something to fall back on if neded.

Im sure your one could be repaired. Once the skin and inner frame is off its easy to get the lines back in with a bolster. Then repair your skn or put a new one on. Ive got a few tailgates but they all need work. Good ones virtually dont exist.
