Heres some pics of the dragster I've brought home today.
Many thanks to Dave (ek61) who found it initally
when going out to buy a diff center from a private residance.
I've started a thread on
ozrodders to try and find some history on it.
Cheers
Jeff

I do have a hot 6 and a McGee injector set-up to put in the van,
but the van may just end up being a tow / push car with a mild red.
I really want to find out its previous history first to see if it has any pedigree.
If it does, I'd like to restore it to how it was.
It didn't come with a motor.

Its definatly an old frame possibly late 60's early 70's.
I reckon its been back halved during its career, early front, later rear.

I paid $1000 for it.
If you just want a display, make one, these old things deserve to be restored I reckon.

bargain
in my opinion the wheels won't be any great loss, nice on a landcruiser
you need some US racers

The wheels are shockers

can opener chromies

Im not sure if regular mags will fit though, there is very little backspacing.
I'd probably have to change the centers or have new rims made up.
