Never heard of one that works well yet without fuel injection (except flat out). Go the blower

Haha I haven't touched it since my last update but it will be going to the engine builder this Friday. I am confident that he will resolve all of the issues

yeah i know a couple that i wouldn't call slow and the old turbo i think VC's weren't exactly slouches

Found an entire kit for sale for you...

It's a separate portion of an ad that's on Carsales. The guy is selling an EJ, but has this mentioned further down in the ad.

Separately, I am also selling a 'Draw Through' style Turbo Kit. This is for a 179, 186 or 202 red, blue or black motor.

The kit contains:
• Strata inlet
• Exhaust manifolds
• 48mm Weber Carburettor. It comes with a chrome LYNX air cleaner and air filter element.
• 48mm Weber Carburettor Rebuild Kit in new condition. It has a brand new Fuel Miser rebuild kit bought from Repco.
• Weber Carburettor to Turbo Inlet Adapter. I was told these were part of the original Strata kit. It has 2 brass fittings for vacuum lines, and the bracket for the throttle to mount to.
• T3/T4 Internal Wastegate Turbocharger. Nameplate on inlet says:
TURBOCHARGER
TYPE: T04E
PART NO: T3/T4
SERIAL NO: EM0803433
• The turbo still has all the protective plastic over all of the openings to stop dust, and moisture from entering.
• High Tension Turbo Clamp, custom made turbo to dump pipe adapter.
• Flange Adapter (exhaust manifold to turbo).

There is a picture of the turbo assembled and another pic of the turbo parts.

Sale price for the Turbo Kit is $3,000.
