Source besides Rare Spares for Subframe Leg Bolts

Post by DeadSled »

Hey fellas,

Just wondering if anyone has a good source preferably in Brisbane for the subframe four bolts that go through the legs and the body. Rare Spares have them but at $80 for four bolts i'm thinking thats a little bit ridiculous..

I have one original but do not have the other three, if anyone has spares of these laying around i will gladly buy them or work something out for them.

Thanks!
Nick.

I thought the same, but buggered if I now of anyone else doing them. So I bought them. Surprisingly they fit quite well, even after all the rust repairs.

Cheers guys. I'll see how i go then.. not really keen to buy them at $20 a pop. I have seen a guy on ebay that sells new ones don't think they are quite as expensive though.. aside from that i haven't seen anyone that does them yet.

I reckon they are cheap,I paid 25 each for them in the late 80s as a genuine part.

However, being from Rares they probably dont fit anyway.

These are rares ones on ebay..

Which ones go on the outside and inside? I would of assumed the larger go on the outside.. correct?

These are another set of ones from ebay, $10 cheaper than Rares.

Do these appear to be the same thing as rares, with the exception of the zinc coating? I'm not sure if i'm seeing correctly but it appears the ebay ones MAY have a slightly different step at the bottom of them, or something going on. Not 100% though..
