Hi all, I recently brought a Trimatic and i tipped it up to get rid of the old fluid and about two litres of water came out of it with a little fluid..
1. Can I flush it out and use it?
2. Does it need to be fixed?
3. What do I flush it out with?
Any help would be great
Cheers Mark

Chances are it's toast. Sorry.
It only takes a really small amount of water (not much more than a spoon-full) for it to soak the clutch linings, which softens both them and the bonding agent.
It would almost certainly cost more to fix than replace.

Hey Mark, I had an auto at a shop to get the bell housing swapped over and they put in new plates while it was apart, he charged me $30

.
I'd check it out first
