Looking for my old love.

Hi all,
im trying to find my old FB,
i had to sell is about 10 years ago to pay for school fees, sad i know,,
im not sure if the guy who bought it ever got it running.
just wondering if anyone has seen it.

The Plates were MY 1961 so im hoping someone has at least seen the plates.

All the best with the search. If you know the chassis number you might be able to do a search for it through the state department in Vic responsible for car regos.

You could also look up the forum data base that steve is doing.
It wont say who owns the car but at least its something.

fourm database,, hod do i look at that?
i tried to do a numberplate replacement for MY1961, put in all my details and it didnt say they were not mine,
but on clicking the order link, the page crashed and i couldnt get back in,
i'll try in a day or so,

Tracing via numberplate is a long shot unless they have kept the plates...chassis number is the key.

The new owner is on here and has done a 6 year "do up", it's now castel green and white, looks sweet.
Not a chance in hell you will get that one back, sorry.

It has to be it, looking at the pic's.
Twin SU's on a "monaro" manifold,
Chrome glove box,
Finned "Thommas" rocker cover,
NASCO clck,
baby moons,
had a 179 HP motor,
But it didn't have the louvered bonnet.

ahh well,
any more pics?
oh i kept the bonnet,, its my brothers so i couldnt sell it,
also, it had a side petrol filler, on the left, with a flip door,
i got rid of the rear filler and boot lock too,
did he keep the number plates? MY 1961 ?

Still have the plates, can't use them, though. Done a heap of work, but almost there. Like Trevor said, 6 years continuous work. She's a different colour now, but still a looker. Pm me if you want to see more.
