Is there a method to remove one of these that doesn't destroy it?

Can you get a key cut for them to reuse them?

How do you refit them(if its possible)

Thanks in advance,Craig.

had a prick of a time with mine, ended up drilling out the two bolt heads then when i removed the bottom cup i was able to undo the bolt shafts using a pair of multigrips.
havn't followed up on the replacemet key as yet i was going to take it to a locksmith and get them to make a new key for it.
one of those things on the list

I had one without a key on my flashline EK some years back. I went into local locksmith to ask he he could help and he said he could open the lock and sort out a key for me if I brought the car in. I never got around to it, but he seemed pretty confident.

Thanks,gents.Much appreciated.

The thing is,mine is on a HR column, and the top section looks like the ubolt off a muffler clamp, and looks to have the open ends

knocked up hard like a solid rivet, never to be removed. Not at all like those sheer bolts.

Any further info appreciated,I made the stoopid assumption that they would be the same.

Craig, talk to the locksmith next to me.

Never seen a challenge that has beat him yet & probably has key blanks in stock.

Good call Stanley.
Will do.
The biggest challenge will be getting it off though,I think.

Give him a crack, safes are no problem so a column lock should be a breeze.
