18th FB-EK Nationals 9th & 10th June 2007, Forbes NSW.
Please find below details for the Nationals Weekend.
Letters including entry forms etc have been sent to past entrants and their clubs. Please contact us should you need an entry form, contact details are at the end of this message. We will have a link for online download of the entry form up and running asap.
The events for the weekend will be based in and around Forbes NSW.
They will follow the traditional program including Sign on, activities and Dinner on the Saturday, and Show & Shine/Presentation dinner on Sunday. Full details will be provided to you on receipt of your completed entry form.
Accommodation listings are attached to letters issued to past entrants and their clubs and we would remind all entrants that it is their responsibility to book their own accommodation.
For this year we would advise entrants to book your accommodation as early as possible and well in advance of the event. Forbes is relatively small and sometimes has to accommodate overflow from nearby towns such as Parkes on holiday weekends.
Vehicle categories for the Show & Shine are:
ORIGINAL : Vehicles meeting manufacturers original specifications with Genuine Nasco or Period accessories are acceptable .Radial Tyres , carpets, and modern sound systems are permitted.
SPORTS : Vehicles must retain Grey motor and drive line but may have sports modifications including wider wheels or Mags, Twin Carbs and extractor exhaust system etc.
MODIFIED : Vehicles including modifications excess of the Original or Sports Categories.
Trophies will be awarded in all classes of cars (both FB & EK’s), for at least 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings as well as:
Top Sedan Best Interior
Best EngineBay Most Authentic Vehicle
Hard Luck Grand Champion
Top Wagon Top Panelvan
Top Ute Best Paint
And a couple of surprises !.
The Committee reserves the right to cancel or refuse and entry where in their opinion the entrant has displayed unacceptable behaviour or exposed the event to disrepute.
Entry Costs
We have tried to keep the cost of the weekend to an acceptable level and costs are as follows:
Single Entry : $ 100.00
This includes entry for one person to organised activities on the Saturday and Sunday including Dinner both nights, entry of 1 vehicle to the Show & Shine and 1 “Goodies” bag and T-Shirt.
Double Entry : $ 170.00
This includes entry for 2 persons to organised activities on Saturday and Sunday including Dinner both nights, entry of up to 2 vehicles to the Show & Shine and 1 “Goodies” bag and T-Shirt.
Children : $ 20.00 ( Ages 4-12 years)Includes Dinner for both nights.
Additional Adults: $ 75.00 ( Includes Children aged 12 and over)
For both nights.
Extra T-Shirts : $ 26.00 eachSizes : S – XXXL.
Late Fee : $10.00
Applied to entries received after 31/3/2007.
Due to catering and organisational commitments, the final date for acceptance of entries will be 18th May 2007.
