i recently bought a set of pacemaker extractors for my red powered FB, bought from another forum FB owner who had the pipes fitted to his FB, also with a red , 202....anyway, easy fit right??? didn't want to get my hands dirty and FB needed a checkup anyway so i asked the blokes that dabble in grease daily to fit them for me, well it turns out that whilst they fitted the other FB with a red, they don't fit my FB with a red, "foul the chassis" so i'm told. they checked the numbers on the pipes and it turns out these were made to fit an EH, and whilst FB ones are available it makes me wonder how these fitted his...so what gives??? is his FB that different, mine runs HR front end, as does his but its the chassis that theyre fouling on....
chop the pipes to suit? sell and move on?
anyone got an eh with a red motor and want a set of pacemaker extractors for it???

I've had a few sets of extractors from cars I don't even know and never had a problem with them hitting, just lucky I guess

.
The only thing that came close to hitting was the bell housing with one set. Weird that they fit one and not yours

.

so how did you solve the problem ?
I've been told I needed to order a set off a Comicadoor.....
Having followed loads of bad advice in the past I decided to contact PACEMAKER, I gave them my details (,ei: EK ute with red motor).... they replied saying I'd need a special order.... they gave me the part #, the specs and a list of where to get the extractors fitted here in Perth.
The specs are the same as the off the shelf pipes...
cheers,
Graeme.

i havent got around to it...A*****D said he'd happily take em back, but i never got around to doing that either.
So if anyone needs a set of Pacemaker extractors for their red powered EH then i have a perfectly good set collecting shed dust.
Fresh coat of high temp black and all.
after having a go at fitting them (rather than checking part numbers first) and charging me for their time... the exhaust shop gave me a part number of pacemakers that will fit FB/EK with red motor, but they also gave me a quote for $600 for them so i told them to go act like a set of extractors ie get bent!!
looking at doing the whole hot 202 & g/box recon atm and had another set priced from a different mob, $280 supply only price.
