Found this at the swap meet on the weekend , anybody know the story behind Monaro motors ?
Havent really gave much thought to where all the early speed equipment came from , were they just a small foundry making car only bits , or was it just a sideline for them ?
Gave it a bit of a clean up , will tidy up ok .

Sorry wot , it has a date with the only good bit that came off my ute , the engine

, runs like a pearler , and going into the pink sedan .
I found a bit of info about them doing Morris parts , I suppose they did other makes as they saw the need , looks like they have been around for a while .
Thanks for the info steve , found another one on ebay as well

No harm in trying.
I kinda collect vintage Holden manifolds and rocker covers, the variation seems endless and the collection is getting out of control.
The one Steve listed is too much for me,but thanks for posting it up.
