Pertronix / How long can I expect?

I responded to Stu about his Pertronix ignition conversion failing after six months 
I've had ours in for a while and done plenty of trips away without a problem (touch wood) and yes I carry a spare points dissy with my usual "roadtrip spares" but never needed it.
Anyway I got the idea after reading other forum users saying they had done the conversion and were happy with the product, so my question is: Who has racked up the most miles with the Pertronix in their car
I've read the "testomonials" on the Pertronix website but am always skeptical if they are B/S or not
