engine removal

im getting ready to remove the gray motor, what is the best way to do this i have a crane and stand but is there a harness i can buy or can i just use chains?

yeah we going to use chains dad owns a hardware store his got heavy chain there that will do the job. it nearly ready to come out just need to do the gear selector and remove the uni joint which i think is missingHarv wrote:Chain is pretty common for engine lifts. Make sure it's in good condition, fixed well and heavy enough for the job. Can be a bit trickier getting the balance right (harder to avoud paint scratches and dings if putting in to a newly painted engine bay, but not insurmountbale).
