the RTA website has a list BUT cheap is a thing of the past the last guy i used to use was $400 but he no longer does them due to the RTA's new regs they want brought in

i got on to one guy at cardiff he was $750 and cheapest i could find in sydney was $900, may be a little cheaper as mine was also for a 2 door conversion, most were $1,000+
you also got to find one that isn't a dickhead and wants stupid things like guard indicators etc

Dave,
When I started the wagon project, I had Peter L Smith out at Camden recommended to me (phone (02) 4655 9440, email
psmith@psmitheng.com.au). The guy who recommended him was an old mechanic who had gone through a recent kit-car engineering (with Peter L Smith Engineering as signatory), and was pretty happy.
I started a conversation with them by email (can't remember the guys name though...

and can't open up the old emails with this PC... his surname started with a Z from memory). I found them to be pretty pragmatic in terms of the guidance they gave me, and intend to go back to them once the wagon comes out of storage.
Cheers,
Harv
