Trev,
If BFEK doesn't take it, I'd certainly be interested. My generator started making a terrible racket yesterday (intermittently); and today the grinding noise is almost constant and my generator light keeps coming on.

I'm in Ashburton, so I'd be more than happy to drive over to your side of town.

Please let me know if it's still available.

Have you checked the oil pads for the bearings????????
I have one in the shed, dunno if it's a LUCAS, and I'm in W.A. :(
Let me know if ya get stuck finding one as may be able to post one over.

I got a rebuilt one somewhere in the shed. its got no pulley but hey if ya got an old one, just swap it over.

Just out of interest, how hard is it to check the oil pads/bearings?
