*** Holden EK 1961 Premier Prototype Euroa Gold Metallic

Post by Aussie Bob »

We are very excited to share this one of a kind EK Holden with fellow enthusiasts. Those that will be at the Sawtell FB EK National in June will get to inspect the EK first hand.

The car has twenty four EJ Premier features and a couple that the very few EJ Premiers got like power steering.

Thanks AustMod, we are so thrilled :)

Cheers Stuart. Can't wait for Sunny Sawtell :!:

Hi Andrew, still got a lot of cleaning to do to get thirty five years of dirt / dust / muck that has been sitting on the car.

You've been keeping us out of the loop on this find, Steve!
Is this really from factory like it sits, or one done up by a dealer??
I've never heard of an EK done this way let-alone seen one (EVER!)...
TELL US MORE!!
Does it have bucket seats?
Leather trim?
Factory 'Warmeride' heater with the thin bit that goes between the seats console style?
Etc??????????????????????????????

Scotty.

PS....just checked the date to see if it was the 1st of April.

Well done Steve!
That is looking great now you've (Wayne?) given it a polish. It was a privilege to see it when we were out there and all being well should see it up at Sawtell too. Lots to do so little time (serves me right for letting my work send me on 'trips' to Qld and Christchurch !!!)
You better fix the wind down rear quarter - what a great feature. Holden should have put them on all their cars for flow through ventilation
Cheers and see you soon
