V8 EXHAUST SYSTEMS

Has anyone tried to fit 304ci factory cast headers onto a inj V8 in a FB/EK?? Saw some on evil bay and my mind started ticking (well clunking).
Know doubt someone would have already thought of this but better ask than wonder.
