I'll buy them if I need to, but if I dont then the $80 can go elsewhere
Fitting Sub frame
Fitting Sub frame
After welding in rust repair pieces on the EK where the subframe bolts I've found it's a very tight fit. I've also found I may have stripped a bolt or two. Now, do they HAVE to be that type of bolt or can I use any bolt. I see rare spares has a 4 bolt set for $80.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer

put mine back on the otherday it was a mongrel to get on it will be a tight fight. I must of lost a couple of mm some where I couldnt get the original 2 inner lower bolts in ended up welding crushing tube in there and using high tensil bolts I did that to the outers during rust repairs couldn't get those bolts at the time , now have some bolts for next time
*must have a look at my recite from rares thought those bolts where about $40 , I brought a bit of stuff and didnt look at the price too much,

Re: Fitting Sub frame
They can be a real pain in the ar$e to fit. I'd use the correct bolts. Bolt it up finger tight to the fire wall first and then the bottom forks will line up easier. I had to use a screwdriver to help get things lined up at the bottom forks.
