Hi,
I am new to this forum so hi to everyone, My EK rear right bearing is leaking after I put it into the shop for replacement. I can not take it back as I have moved interstate. I have taken the axle out and inspected the bearing, there was no inner seal and only one O-Ring on the bearing. After reading the bible I check and there was no seal between the bearing and the deflector plate. I have asked about and checked online stores for such a seal and no one could help. There is no pictures or other info in the book.



Can anyone give some info.

Was the 'o'ring pinched or twisted when you pulled the axle out?

the inner O-Ring looked fine it has an outer as well and it was broken with some of it missing , have ordered a few and will replace both, anything on the deflector seal

Can anyone shed more light on this one? I'm having the same issue.
Does "deflector plate" refer to the plate that has the brake shoe pivot pin attached to the bottom of it??
