my boy races has done for 8 years
i rode for 12 years
you know there is a website that deals in vintage bmx bikes
i can find out for you if you like
i brought an old quicksilver a few years ago to hang in the garrage
its what i used to ride

Cool.....Quicksilver...is it one of those with the valve welded into the frame so you could fill it with helium to make it lighter?(or so the teenage rumour went....)

I always wanted a Quicksilver,I ended up with a top end Diamond Back instead,which was a real nice bike that I raced for a while in the early 80s.Chrome and blue.......Dad made me sell it to buy tires for my first car.
Some lesson about learning that cars are expensive things to run or some bloody thing...........................geeze,I wish I still had that bike.

Hey I've got a GT and a Diamond Back. The GT is my race bike from 1981 and the Diamond Back is being restored for my daughter for a chrissie present.
I also have a couple of Mongeese (Mid School)-These will be for sale soon. SE racing Quadangle and a few new school freestyle Redlines

Hijacking welcome, Its good to see other people share the interest. Some pretty cool bike there ;)

In particular Im looking for mongoose motomags, teams etc etc Late 70's to mid 80's!... But I'll take pretty much anything :lol: Just to restore and sit in my office / shed / lounge / kitchen / toilet?

Kill for something like this...!

Hey Chopped,

Have you seen the new track yet? Its pretty ace.... I don't race bmx, I'm more into downhill and motox. I get too puffed riding on level ground with no trottle :lol:

Hey Kiid , i got a Kuwahara kz1 , Kerr sidehack , Elf Cruiser , Floval Flyer , Repco monoshock , Cyclecraft jnr , plus a few i wont sell .. ( i collect old bikes lol ) wanna trade for parts for an ek ??

Just got 1 and need a windscreen , left front door n a few bits .. maybe a few hop up bits for the ol grey motor . Im heading to Bendigo next weekend for the Car show .
