painting chequers

i mant to paint chequers under the bonnet but not sure on how to go about it so if someone has done it before can they please give a how to on the best way to do it thanx in advance lindsay58

Buy a heap of black vinyl (sticker type) and stick them on. Job done!!!! Or if it has to be paint then mask the edges, spray and peel out the vinylt to be left with checkers.
