yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh......
JUST DO IT...
its obviously not as easy as it looks otherwise i reckon that ever second owner of an ek wagon would have done it, me included...
it would look awesome...
remember ratbox did one similar along time ago... in matte black (of cause) maybe ask him some tech questions about it...
good luck, hope it happens...

Nice bud.
Had the same design drawn up for a couple of years now. although i did mine the old fashoin way with pencil and paper

photoshop confuses the hell out of me
my wagon is stripped and awating the fabrication to start.
always wondered why no one moved the c pillar forward when 2 dooring wagons.
you doing any other mods other than the 2 door conversion??
Cheers
Mick

thanx for the comments guys, scotty, bill & ted are most excelent

but there no cheech & chong
plans are the 2 door conversion, leaving it 6 seater, with a split 60/40 front seat, chassis kit and v6 auto, hr front, upgraded brakes etc
not sure on colours but im going to have a go at air brushing the stainless side moulds on similar to pic.
J, the door in the second pic does look too big, but in my pic the doors are not as long. when i saw the second pic i thought the same thing,

do it! the first pic that is. looks pretty good. might need to work on the curve and the door length to get it looking right but it still looks cool.
mount the fuel tank higher up if you lower it that much. mine sits about there and i keep finding new dings every day

over the weekend i was looking and measuring the doors, im hoping to have a door made this weekend, i really need the door to be the right size, otherwise it will throw the whole look out.
what i came up with is this, the length of the rear door added to the front door where the flipper window starts/ends.
in this photo iv marked it with green. the red shows orignal door length and yellow shows the new door length.
i think these sizes look about right, it doesnt seem to make the door to big n ugly
