You lucky bugger Trev. Right place at the right time. I dont think it would hurt to bring it back to its former glory, go a resto. Looks complete too. They obviuosy didnt realise what they were throwing out. I mean really, who would want an old crappy pedal car when you can get electric plastic ones.
Well done.
Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!
Its a cyclops 60's model i have one that i did up for my boys .Worth $600 to 1500 dollars as is .I try and find a pick of my boys one and upload
regards fatt
This was done nearly 6 years ago i bought the pedal car for $400 IN PIECES

Did you get any history on it from the old couple?
The old couple said it was their son's and he's 40 now (thats when I told them how my kid would love it, yeah rite! as if they will get their hands on it ).

Great score all right. If you do decide to restore it at least you can get
replacement decals. http://www.grafixunlimited.com.au/produ ... isplay=411
It would be interesting to know if that rego was from a full size car.

I had a Austin J40 a few years ago. The bush fires that went through my place then burnt the shed down that I had it in.
You shouldnt have too much trouble getting the right set of front wheels for that cyclops.
Id probably leave it alone. It has a great patina.

That would have hurt Dave. Yeah I got a bit excited until Fatboy identified it Didn't know Cyclops made them.
It's amazing what you find at the tip at times - I've even found money that has been thrown out.
